 Review:
I found this book amazing and would recommend it to anyone I know. Its a thrilling tale of life and death, fighting even though all the odds are against you with the hope that you'll make it out alive. The author ,Laura Hillenbrand, portrays Louis Zamperini in such a charismatic way that makes it hard not to love him.
In class the most I've learned about WWII is how awful the Nazi's were during the war and how Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, and how we as a nation retaliated with an atomic bomb that devastated Japan. We never really focused n how awful the Japanese really were and how big of a part they had in WWII. But with all the information Hillenbrand puts in her book about the war it really helps understand the story as a whole.
